Queen
Margaret's, a Registered Nursing Home for the last 25 years continues to be family run having changed ownership in 2004.
The home has already had extensive improvements to the quality of staff, food and the rooms and building and these will continue.

Accommodation
is provided in single rooms, most with en-suite
facilities. All rooms
exceed
the latest care standards recommended size, many
are large enough to accommodate two beds if necessary.
Some ground floor rooms are available and two passenger
lifts serve all the rooms on the upper floors.
There
are three lounges at Queen Margaret's and a separate
dining room. All our residents are encouraged
to use these public rooms, or remain in their rooms
if they prefer. Smoking is not allowed within
the home.

Residents
are encouraged to participate in daily activities
provided in our lounges and we operate
an open visiting policy which is enhanced by the
provision of our own private car park. A choice
of menu is always available for meals, which can
be taken in residents own rooms or in the separate
dining room. Specialist diets are also catered
for.
It is
the policy of the home to provide each of our residents
with the Nursing care that they individually require.
They are encouraged to be as independent as possible
but will be assisted when needed. The nursing
staff will do for residents what they can no longer
do for themselves. We also actively encourage our
staff to undertake ongoing professional training
and further qualifications.
Both private and state funded residents are welcome
at Queen Margaret's.
